Having taken off at 0955 hrs on 22nd June 1943, this plane, Halifax Mk II, DT727, NF-K had a landing accident at 1100 hrs following flight testing, it swung on touchdown hitting one of the hangers and was written off. There were no injuries to the crew.
This pilot had been involved in another training accident 3 days earlier.
